Role Description
As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer you will provide engineering design support to the project manager for contracts for a wide range of clients. The Control and Instrumentation Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify client requirements
- Develop C&I designs
- Prepare, check and Approve C&I design documentation
- Specify equipment
- Plan and carry out engineering activities
- Liaise with other members of the design team
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities
- Attend meetings
- Site surveys
- Assist in preparation of cost estimates and tender packages
- Site commissioning assistance
- Work to client, national and international standards and regulations
- Adhere to company quality and standards
- Carry out work in a safe and effective manner
- Attend training, develop and maintain skills

- Proficiency in control systems design and implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- HNC Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
- 5 years C&I design, engineering or management experience minimum
- Gas and ATEX Experience
- Relevant industry certifications
- Electrical experience and knowledge would be beneficial
