About Technica Ltd

Technica is an independent engineering and construction company solving complex challenges for the UK and international energy sectors. We deliver turnkey, multi-disciplinary projects — from design through to build — with control, confidence and care.

Our ‘Why’:
“Technica believe in long-term relationships. We want our clients to have total trust that we’ll deliver excellence in our solutions to their engineering problems.”

We’re entering a bold new chapter, underpinned by a 5-Year growth strategy that will see Technica evolve, expand and play a leading role in the energy transition. We’re looking for people who want to build something meaningful — for themselves, our clients, and our sector.

Why this role matters

Technica is looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our team and contribute to some of our most exciting and important engineering projects. This isn’t just about learning technical design — it’s about helping shape how our clients experience working with Technica.

From day one, you’ll be part of a supportive engineering team, bringing ideas to life through real-world design work. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on projects while learning from some of the most experienced EC&I professionals in the industry.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys solving technical problems and bringing clarity to complex challenges
  • Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in the quality of their work
  • Wants to grow in a dynamic sector with the support of experienced mentors
  • Understands that great engineering isn’t just about technical drawings — it’s about delivering a positive client experience

You’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of engineering activities, including specifying instrumentation, supporting control system design, and working with other disciplines to integrate solutions.

We don’t expect you to know everything — but if you’ve got a solid foundation knowledge, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn, we’ll support you every step of the way.

Join us and grow your engineering career at Technica — through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to design excellence as we deliver our 5-Year Strategy.

How you’ll Contribute

  • Support team members with technical issues/queries
  • Prepare, check and approve various engineering designs, calculations, drawings & documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of project plans
  • Specify equipment and prepare datasheets
  • Liaise with internal team members
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and vendors (after a period of guidance and training)
  • Attend internal and external meetings
  • Carry out work in a safe and effective manner
  • Attend Site surveys
  • Work to company, client, national and international standards and regulations

What you’ll bring

Essentials:

  • Strong IT Skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel etc)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Have a creative approach to problem solving
