Technica Apprentice Scoops Award
Technica Apprentice, Max Morgan was pleased to complete 2018 on a high note.
Max, a student at HETA, was recognised for being the ‘Most Improved Multi-Skilled Apprentice of 2017/2018’ from amongst his peer group of 25 other local apprentices.
The award is a reflection of his overall performance across several engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical and computer aided design and is testament to his mentors both at HETA and within Technica.
Commenting on his award, Max stated “I am happy that my work has been recognised by HETA. I believe that my progress has been good this year and that I am able to focus on the speed and quality of my engineering skills”.
Managing Director of Technica, John Davison commented “Having been an apprentice myself, I am pleased that HETA and other training establishments are still providing excellent and meaningful training for our young engineers. The region offers good employment opportunities for apprentices with the right approach and I am very pleased that Max has been recognised in this way”.
Since incorporation, Technica has employed local apprentices and offers a progressive and varied career path within the automation and control industries. Technica is represented in the construction, petrochemical, oil and gas sectors and provides multi-disciplinary engineering design and construction services.
HETA (Humberside Engineering Training Association) was founded in 1967 and is renowned as the leading engineering training organisation within the area.
