TECHNICA METERING EXPERTISE RECOGNISED BY JOINT OFFICE OF GAS TRANSPORTERS

Technica Service Manager Marc Baynham has been approved as an independent technical expert by the Joint Office of Gas Transporters.  This formal recognition came into effect on 1 October 2021 and will run for a period of 12 months and recognises his competency to undertake independent audits and maintenance inspections on a range of flow meters and chromatographs.

Commenting on the approval, Marc stated “I am really pleased that my knowledge and experience has been formally recognised by the Joint Office and that this will allow me to expand the capabilities of our Service Department at Technica”.

Managing Director of Technica, Richard Law commented “This approval is a reflection of the expertise Marc has within this field and the calibre of the individual”.  He continued “The inclusion of Marc will allow us to continue to diversify our metering services through the addition of audits and maintenance verifications to new clients as well as consolidating our position with existing clients”

Launching their service department earlier this year, Technica has already secured contracts for the provision of annual metering maintenance services for Centrica and Gassco as well as undertaking recent audits and metering validation for an independent energy client.

Alongside this capability to undertake maintenance and verification works in relation to fiscal metering and analysis systems, Technica has the capability to design, fabricate, install and commission a large range of metering skids ranging in size from 2” up to 48” in diameter as well as the design and build of flow computer racks and analysis systems.
