TECHNICA CHOSEN TO DELIVER MUTLI-SITE UPGRADES FOR SGN

Technica has secured a key contract to assist SGN in the upgrading of their Operational Technology (OT) assets across many sites in both Scotland and the south of England.

The contract win follows a lengthy and technically demanding competitive tendering process which commenced in 2023.  The process allowed Technica to demonstrate its credentials in relation to OT and cyber and included a presentation of capability and project delivery to the SGN procurement and technical assessors.

The project, which has already commenced, involves undertaking surveys across over 40 sites around the UK, production of site-specific design packages, configuration of new OT assets and then deployment of this new equipment on site.

Director of Business Development at Technica, Richard Law commented “We are pleased to have been able to secure this contract with SGN after such a lengthy tendering process and are grateful to them for selecting Technica to be their chosen partner for the delivery of such a critical piece of work”.

Group Managing Director of Technica, John Davison continued “This is fantastic news that such a key client has recognised our ability to deliver such an important project for them and we look forward to demonstrating our understanding of their OT assets and successfully completing the project over the next 12 to 18 months”.
