TECHNICA APPOINTS FINANCE DIRECTOR
Having restructured the senior leadership within the business in June 2021, Technica have continued to achieve significant revenue growth. Identifying the need to add a finance professional to the team in September of the same year, Technica are now pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Vinter as Finance Director.
Simon joined the business on 1 March 2022 having previously served as the Group Finance Director of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply where he has overseen their worldwide finance operations.
Simon is a highly skilled finance professional and Chartered Accountant with a career spanning over 30 years. He has held many senior finance roles with a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, operational efficiency and enabling outstanding customer service. He joins Technica with a wealth of financial and business experience having worked for global IT outsourcers Perot Systems and Dell, in addition to Orbital Gas Systems.
Speaking of his appointment to the board of directors, Chairman of Technica John Davison commented “As our business evolves, we recognise the importance and evolving nature of the financial management side of the operation and the necessity to have the correct level of professional oversight in this area”. Having worked with Simon previously, Managing Director, Richard Law said “It’s excellent to be re-united with Simon and having previously lead a similar business together, I am confident that his addition to our current board will allow us to deliver further success for Technica”.

For over 15 years, Technica has developed the capability to design and deliver complex Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Process engineering solutions. They specialise in Fiscal and Non-Fiscal metering, RTU, Fire and Gas, SCADA and industrial automation and control, Local Gas Treatment and the provision of site installation and maintenance.
As an engineering solutions provider they are able to provide a wide range of engineering services including EPC, EPCM and consultancy services to clients and have extensive experience in the successful delivery of CDM projects as both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor. Technica are experienced in providing ongoing service and maintenance support which includes ongoing asset monitoring, planned and emergency maintenance and independent audit of fiscal metering and analysis equipment.
