TECHNICA TO SUPPORT UK LEADING LNG TERMINAL

Grimsby based engineering solutions provider Technica has been awarded a place on a 5 year framework to support the leading Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) terminal within the UK.

The framework place was awarded after a competitive process and will see Technica provide installation and minor design support to the ongoing portfolio of projects, capacity upgrades, ‘re-life’ works for existing equipment and future developments at the Grain LNG facility in Kent.

Managing Director of Technica, Richard Law stated “we have been indirectly supporting Grain LNG with EC&I design works for their CAP25 project so I am really pleased to see our expertise being recognised and our relationship expanded through the award of this framework place”.  He continued “we are grateful for the opportunity to develop our relationship with Grain LNG and support their portfolio of project installation works through the provision of our excellent site technicians”.

Technica has a successful track record of delivering design and construction services for LNG facility operators having been involved in over 20 projects Worldwide to provide services including FEED, detailed design and EPC of LNG offloading, processing and storage facilities.
