Hazardous Area Classification Practitioners Course at the IGEM Academy of Technical Development
Technica’s Joseph Howell and Ryan Whiteley recently completed their Hazardous Area Classification Practitioners Course at the IGEM Academy of Technical Development.
This advanced training course has been designed specifically for those who are working with IGEM technical standard SR/25 and the SR/25 calculator in order to carry out hazardous area classification of natural gas installations.
The training offered the opportunity to extend their existing knowledge of the standard, explore the practicalities of carrying out hazardous area classification in accordance with it, and become confident in using the SR/25 calculator quickly and easily to perform hazardous area calculations.
Joseph Howell, our process engineer at Technica who attended the training said “This training has enhanced our SR25 knowledge and capabilities to deliver hazardous area analysis for the UK gas distribution network moving forward.”
